in reply to: Almost Rincewind’s Birthday Ride. #15219Dont let my comments stop you guys as it must be around 18 months or more since we were there and as you know things can change in that time, however it made such an impression on her indoors (who had been there many times) that she doesnt want to go back.I also doubt if I will be on the ride as the 3rd is her birthday and I am expected to ply her with expensive gifts etc etc 😛
in reply to: Almost Rincewind’s Birthday Ride. #15216Far be it from me to put a damper on the procedings, but the last couple of times I have been there the cafe has been crap and even her indoors who just loves the pottery doesnt want to eat there again which is great cos it saves me a lot of money ;D and if my fading memory serves me right the last couple of register rides there were not too sucessful in the nosh department either.
Thanks for posting Bwucie, it was a timely reminder to pay as I had forgotten all about it.CheersJim
in reply to: Malcolm’s trip to Pirongia Clydesdales. #15280I see from you being on a reliable make of scooter Bwucie that the paddlers on the waka bringing you the hand forged and honed shims from the Fartherland must be running into some inclement weather, I hope you have put your registration on hold !!!!! ::)

in reply to: Who ate all the pies?! #15022If you like good old English pork pies try the Westmere butchers, her indoors bought some to compensate for her very expensive hairdo and they were delicious, best I've had in NZ or most in Pommie land for that matter
