Well it certainly looks like a good one Bwucie, hasn't even got any bug splat on it yet but I suppose it wont be long before it gets a bit of muck on it.Looking forward to seeing it and drooling over a new bike (As we all do)

Have to agree with Alex, the only thing I look at is the forum, the rest is too hard for an old codger like me , I don't even know what an RSS feed is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We saw ya at the races but too snobby to answer me yelling across to you asking if you wanted to have a pair of earplugs as I had a pocket full of them.I arrived at BP and missed the roadblock as I went my usual way in around the left perimeter but thought the boys in blue were going to come across to me but they must have decided I was a law abiding kinda guy as they left me alone.Just as well as my warrant had run out yesterday, but I went across anyway and scored a visyvest so pretty good.On the way back with Tony stopped for an icecream at Clevedon and met up with Hilton and friends for a chinwag.Left Tony and went down Twilight road over the twisties and was having a blast along the straight when two bikes appeared from nowhere behind me, methinks s%#@% they must be cracking on and don't they look like white RT's with all the gear on, so it was a quiet  ride to Whitford when they turned off, probably spoiled their ride for them having to follow a law abiding citizen !!!

Yeah I cannot tell a lie twas me , I saw the C and wondered if it was you Malcolm.I went to Cycletreads after the ride and they had a Trailwing for the rear so I got that as the front is still good, got 5400km out of the rear which I suppose is OK !!!!.Went the long way round to home via Riddell road twisties to help scrub it in so all good now.  🙂

Hi Fiddy40 and welcome to the forum, maybe catch up sometime when we are riding down your way.You may find it a bit quiet on here for a while as a lot of members will be attending the annual rally in Otago.

Not too impressed with this years run, numbers were well down on previous years and no police presence, even getting out of the BMW headquarters onto the main road was a problem with no “free access” to the main road or the motorway, leading to groups of half a dozen riders or less together, same at the other end.But a good cause none the less.

Great to hear you are not too bad Rob you certainly had us worried. You are certainly right about paying attention 100% as I had a senior moment at Kopu when we turned left at the new roundabout, I gunned it to get past an SUV thinking to pass it before the twisties only to find you still had to turn another left onto the old road  ??? still all I had to do was a U turn and all was well.Hope the recovery is swift.CheersJim
