    Saw the 450 the other day and it looked quite good, although I can't see the rubber bung over the petrol filler lasting long and the side stand snaps up like a gin trap as soon as a little weight is taken off the bike which could lead to a lot of cussing and swearing and stationary drops as it takes people unawares.  😳

    My 1150GS showed 112KPH when the GPS was at 100KPH.My 1200GS however is pretty accurate around 102KPH when the GPS is 100KPH

    Interesting point !!Mind you there will be those that say to SWMBO Sorry Dear, I can't take you with me because BMW say you will overload the bike (ouch)  🙄

    At the current exchange rate it is NZ$15,785 but add a few thousand on for BMW NZ and shipping etc.  😮

    The Yamaha is also available in normal blue but also in white too but must admit I still like the blue best, white shows the dirt and all the scratches.I wonder who copied who ?????  🙄

    What do you mean by “Racing Bikes”, to my mind you can race what you like and as for road legal Japanese enduro or trail type bikes what about the Suzuki DRZ series, Yamaha WF, Honda XR, Kawasaki KLX, etc etc. and all about half the price of a 450 beema and have been going for years and reliable as well.
