in reply to: Sunset Trail Ride – 22nd Feb #11817
Have done this one a couple of times and the scenery is fantastic, but it is very slippery in the wet. There was also a stream to cross near the end of the run with about a metre lip to go up and the quads who had trouble getting up it churned a big rut on the stream bed just where you wanted to lift the front wheel up and so it dropped you down into it.The result was a huge traffic jam of bikes and quite a few including myself took a bit of a bath !!!!It took the farmer and his bulldozer to cut another path through before the ride could continue. Was great fun thoughย ๐
in reply to: DTY’s Northern Motorway Motorcycle only Preview #11548Well done Neko, the only thing it doesnt show is how hot it was, I had a sunburnt nose from having my visor up for so long, but a big thumbs up for DTY for organising it and you for taking the time to edit the video.ย ๐

in reply to: My BMW Experience #11328It's a sweet vegetable, smooth as silk, a third the price of a beema and sounds as good as the violins and pianos they also make.ย ๐ย
in reply to: Dave the Yank’s handiwork. #11494Sounds good to me Davie
in reply to: No more BMW helmets #11467Thats an interesting site Arne, especially comparing prices.I was thinking that my next helmet would be a Shoei Multitech as it fits quite well compared with the others, but may now wait and see what the system 6 is like.
in reply to: No more BMW helmets #11464Always said the system 5 was not a patch on the system 4 and it's taken BMW quite a while to find out.
in reply to: Another case of black vs. white #11453Sounds like you had fun Dave, and if it's miles ahead of an XR650 it must be a mean machine as they were a real beast of a bike.
This is always a short mystery ride Des, you can always carry on somewhere after lunch if you feel the need.ย ๐
