It would be interesting to know how many bikers actually use the toll road, everyone I know goes the old way much better bike road and very quiet now.Oops I forgot, all the Harley riders will use it on the way to the Puhoi pub !!!!!! 🙄

Only been through 3 times, once with DTY's charity ride just before it opened and it was still classed as a private road, whee hee quite quick !!!  😀 and the last time going to the blues thingie at Devonport.Don't even go through in the car as the old route is very nice now with no traffic. So if they are waiting for money off me it will be a long time coming  👿

I heard that they were expensive because they have some form of electronic sensor built into the pads but who needs that ?I think you need to do some research Ingel

“As I understand it the BMW owners had some problems sourcing parts and gear back in the dark days so a few got together and started getting stuff in to the country themselves and eventually came up with the idea of a register of bikes and their owners.”So whats changed ?  😆

Obviously I am doing something wrong the most I have got out of Tourances is 10,000 for the rear and 15,000 for the front. My last rear on a 1200GS was a Continental Road attack and I got 8,160 Km but it was fun  😀

Yes sad news indeed,  🙁  I was looking forward to seeing if they were as good as Steve said, and even better than Kaiaua.

Yes great ride today Bwucie, good weather, good company and good chish and fips. Most of the Waikato guys and gals were still at Pokeno when we arrived after a detour along some very great and quiet roads.
