Birthdays are displayed in the Forum Calendar for those who entered their birthday in their profile. If you do not wish to publish your birthday in the calendar, either remove your birthday from your profile or I can remove the option to displaying all birthdays.Any comments?

I have created a link to the main BMWOR web site  🙂If you bring a mouse pointer to the word, "BMWOR" in the banner (left hand side), the colour and the shape of the mouse pointer will change to indicate that there is a link.If you click the "BMWOR", it will navigate to the BMWOR homepage.Sorry, it is not so obvious but otherwise it is too hard to change it.

Sorry because there is no link to our main web site (www.bmwmc.nz) from this forum…  🙁Go to the main web site, click "Become a member"  https://www.bmwmc.nz/register.php.You will see Online and Download.Unfortunately, Online is not working at the moment.  😳 Either wait for the online form to get fixed (and you can pay the sub on-line, too),or download the PDF, fill the form and post it by snail mail with your cheque enclosed.Thank you very much for your contribution offer  🙂

It gets the error with FireFox, too  🙁It looks like that the page tries to go to the on-line payment page but that URL is old...I have reported the problem to our system administrator.Hopefully, he can fix it soon.Thank you for reporting the problem.  🙂

in reply to: Gravel riding…. #7623

I used to do Adventure riding but I gave it up, as I couldn't maintain the skill (if there was any  😳 ) and that is because I only did it a couple of times a year.I have given up skiing, too for the same reason. I have never graduated from beginners because I don't ski often enough.I tried to practice or simply tried to get used to ride on a gravel road.I felt that it was much more comfortable to ride the same gravel road on the way back, compared to riding on the way.If I rode a gravel road every week, I could get used to it and I might even enjoy it.A person who loves riding gravel roads told me before that he likes the feeling of sliding on the corners of a gravel road...  🙄If you want to enjoy gravel roads, perhaps, you need to ride more often.

Where did you buy it?Do they sell NIKWAX Tech Wash and TX Direct, too?I used to use those product to wash my Gore-Tex gear but I haven't seen them in NZ.

Hi Dave,The maximum width of photos was set to 400.I have changed it to 500. The size is applied when you post a message and those photos that were already posted won't change the size.I have manually change the size of one of your photos to visually check the size.It that large enough and no too large for low resolution screens?Neko

Sorry, I think that this issue is related to the Avatars. The attachment upload path is not accessible at the moment.  🙁Forum host is moving server. Once it's done, everything should be OK. Meanwhile, please be patient.  🙂

That's nice route map, Dave  🙂I post my photos, too. (I was too lazy to write a report and waiting for someone else to start a topic for the ride  :-P)I have sent these photos to the BMWOR editor. You can email your photos to the editor for newsletter. It is not necessary that the editor will use your photo but it is free to send. The editor is Dave, too  😀Email address is editor@bmwor.org.nz
