You can enjoy “shopping” for which riding suite and a helmet to get while you can't ride a motorcycle.  😀What was the result of the X-ray today?I hope that you don't need an operation.Get well soon but be patient  🙂

Before get this thread retires, I post two mail boxes from Japan. They are NOT typical in Japan, rather unusual.I found them on the street where they call "Old township street".They preserved traditional Japanese style houses for two street and they are famous tourist destination.Postbox 1 has the house hold name on the top (lid of the box) where mail is inserted. The top half says "Letter/Newspaper" with Japanese ZIP code mark. The bottom half says "Milk" and milk bottles are delivered there. There is no milk delivery service in the city. The box looks small for milk bottles but milk bottles in Japan are smaller than here  😀You need a house hold name (family name) for each house because street address alone do NOT identify a unique house. Therefore, the postman needs to know which house belongs to who to deliver mails.Postbox 2 is a strange mailbox, as it is just a basket.I noticed that it is a mailbox only because there was a newspaper in it.

in reply to: matching tyres #9905

I have had a different brand for front and rear many times, as the rear tyre worn out much faster than the front.I personally think that it is OK, as long as you get similar character of tyres. For example, if you have a super sport type tyre for the front but a touring type tyre for the rear, you won't be able to have smooth riding.I had a Racetec for the front and a M3 for the rear for my R1200ST.Both tyres are from Metzeler and super sport types but different models.I enjoyed the combination of those tyres.  🙂I had Dunlop + Pirelli or Michelin + Pirelli combination, too but I had no problems.(May be I'm not sensitive enough to feel the difference?  😳 )If you ride "hard", perhaps, you'd better get matching tyres, as that will maximise the outcome of tyres.
