I've had the servo assist + ABS removed from my 1150GS following a servo failure. Used the same master cylinders, hoses changed for length reasons + brake light switch for the front brake required. Before doing it I checked with a mate who had an 1150RT who had had it done. Successful for him and just as successful for me. While the brake feel is different there is tons of braking. Big advantage is the weight saving having removed the servo unit, that weighs at least 5kgm and of course sits quite high being under the petrol tank. Its been a winner for me.
