AS a thought how long is it since you rode the bike Alex? When I was a lad (last week) single plate clutches had a habit of “Freezing” which basically meant they would not release. It usually occured if the vehicle had last been used on a wet day then left parked in humid conditions for extended periods (one to two weeks). Could also be caused by slight oil contamination on the plate (but I digress). Here is the fun part  😀 To free the clutch you could either tow the vehicle in low gear with the clutch disengaged (not really good on a bike) or put the vehicle into a high gear, hold the clutch in, hold the brakes and hit the starter. Is the end wall of your garage solid?  🙄

Ensure that they check the loom from the connecter to the plate as the insulation around the wires is also known to cause this fault.Bloody Hall sensors  Only the Germans would do this to us  😀

Ah the simple mistakes of fools  😳 Here we have the Famous Four on the Kiwi Rd. As Alex has pointed out, freshly graded, loose and dusty  😀DSCF0002.jpgDSCF0003.jpgDSCF0004.jpgDSCF0005-1.jpgNext we have Sir Alex walking around depressed by the scenery and weather, or has he lost his bike? And then the slip that stopped the trip to the Moki TunnelDSCF0010-3.jpgDSCF0009-2.jpgThought bugger, thats ruined this part of the trip when I heard an excited fellow biker saying "wow I have to get a photo of that". Seems we take these things for granted in the Naki. Glad to hear you guys enjoyed yourselves. Its always a pleasure to get out and show off this place  :-D. I wish I had been able to join you for both days but something about the Dairy company and my boss and cows and.... Just bother  😡 Never mind  😀So now we have the Fishers Track Koko?

The gear shift obviously held together  😀 I still think we should have painted it with the Flouro Pink paint  👿 Thanks for the help in the river  😀 Next time I must remember the wash brush and soap.

Yes thats the one!! Some of the locals fix it up every now and then so they can launch boats off the beach. Other times its a big step  😮It is one of many stock tunnels in Taranaki (we love tunnels  :-D). We also have the Te Horo tunnel at White Cliffs and some sheep tunnels at Tarata.Gave the bike a good clean for the concourse and still didnt place  😥 Perhaps Henry was so dazzled by the shine he didnt linger long to admire its qualitys  😀 Very well maintained (some of the top BMW guys in N.Z helped me fix it, Thanks Guys  :-D).

From Papakura to Awakino by the main road is 3hrs in a truck so you have allowed plenty of time for exploring on the way down even allowing for coming via the coast road. Depending on which way you plan to go home you may like to have a look at the Waikawau Rd on your way down. There is a Tunnel at the end of it that goes down onto the beach. It would pay to walk through it first as from time to time the beach end gets a bit altered by nature  :-o.You could also consider the Taumatamarie Rd. It has spectacular views of the Urenui Bay and Mt Egmont from the top.. Comes out at the top end of Awakino Gorge. You have probably driven through that tunnel many times. take alook at the abandoned house on the other side of the river. Cost of putting in another bridge was too much so its owners walked away from it. Also check out how far the river has under cut the road  :-o. Halfway through the Gorge there is an area on the right where sealing chip, metal etc is stock piled. opposite that is the driveway to Bexley Station. If you ride up there about 500 mtrs you will come to a natural tunnel formed by the creek on its far side. Another tunnel exsists on the Frazer Smith Rd. Is that enough tunnels for you for a starter?I have got my bike running, so I may come North and join you for the Sunday. Unfortunatly the Boss would need counseling if I joined you for the Monday as well.  😀

If you buy a disc lock get one that has a very visible, very hard not to notice reminder system  😀
