I've been wearing these for a while now and find them brilliant. Not an MX boot but with a good sturdy construction, comfy to walk in and waterproofhttp://www.forbesanddavies.co.nz/product.aspx?entryPK=2793they do a "ATV" model which is similar constructionhttp://www.forbesanddavies.co.nz/product.aspx?entryPK=2961cheersTracy

Well… no joy with finding any seals but for anyone who has a future (or present) need to rebuild your front master cylinder, Beemerboneyard in the US is selling EOM Magura kits for $42us or less for K bikes… this in contrast to Experience BMW who want $250 for the same thing!... and it's a pleasant sunny week to be on the train too ๐Ÿ™‚cheersTracy

The local bike shop I get my WOF's at has never mentioned my fog lights… I'd stay clear of VTNZ, they tend to be finickity types.I have used extra diffused lights on all my bikes (well not the Enfield, it wasn't up to the extra drain) because I commute on aucklands motorway every day and you need to be as visible as you can possibly be.

I fitted some little Narva fog lights (made some brackets that bolt onto the radiator mounts either side) and they are brilliant ๐Ÿ™‚ย  makes the bike NICE and visible

I think the fundamental problem with these proposals is that ACC, as it stands is meant to be a NO FAULT compensation scheme, not an insurance policy. No fault is meant to be just that. ACC/govenment can't say "no fault... except we will penalise these groups" because straight away it ceases to be no fault.CheersTracy

Hmmm… been looking at the shinko range and in their “podium” range they do a suitable front however the closest rear is a 170/60-18 rather than a 160/60.Is that slight increase in width likely to be a problem? I know bikes are more sensitive to tyre size than cars but would this likely cause any issues???cheersTracy

I reckon!ย  save the high speed stuff for the track… that isn't full of unpredicatable, unaware, unskilled drivers.cheersTracy
