    Hi Darryl ,whatch out for RT its a ex rental and tatty,the GS also has some scrapes under the diff.

    Sounds like the fuel pump relay[controller] mine did the same ,I fitted a spare one that I had herd failure is common.The new mk 3 version[all black ] is meant to be ok.About $400? Cheers Richard

    Might be cheaper to put the $4800 towards a new 1250 when they come out.I have done 86000ks on My 1200 GS and no problems at all.

    Have the airflow censor in the air cleaner checked,My 06 GT ran real rough when I first got it,idle would go up to 3000 rpm some times on trailing trottle.What a differance when BMW replaced the airbox and sensor.

    Its not all that bad,is it just the outer seal? If its that only Experience  can replace it on the bike ,seal cost, diff oil and about 1 hours labour.If its the bearings that have failed that is a bit more expensive.Is there any side play or rumble in the rear wheel? If You need a new Final Drive I have one for sale,just had main bearings replaced.For more details or info give Me a call on 021 993 708 .Richard

    7500rpm in top gear for my pesent pd and My old white &purple one used to pull 8000 all on private road of course.
