I wonce got blamed by the MOT officers for not stopping, when that time I think it was our Steve, those were the good old days.Morphine must be playing tricks with me,cheers all

in reply to: Brake Rotors for 2010 R1200GSA #17814My discs on the GS are geting thinner as well but not warped, I wonder if it is the bikes with wire wheels that have the most problems? Mine had wire wheels when new and had wheels and discs replaced under warranty. Brembo have some nice floating disc conversions on Ebay or Neil from Experience can price up a set thru Eurobike wholesale. Just need a wealthy Adventure rider to try a set out .
in reply to: Bee-ems are hot #17887Wonder if it was Daffys bike?

in reply to: ’05 R1200RT clutch replacement #17827Whats the clutch doing? My GS had a problem but it was the clutch slave cylinder, under $300 inc labour. Is it soft in the lever or slipping under load?
in reply to: Brake Rotors for 2010 R1200GSA #17806Had My GS discs replaced under warranty, one first then they had to replace both. Had wire wheels on the bike at that time. Bike now done over 100 ks and no problems, picked up a EBC rear disc and pads of Rincewind for when they need replacing.

in reply to: Bikes on trade me #17730Na I will just turn on the heated seats and grips and keep riding it. 30,000ks in the last 6 years,at this rate of use it will last forever,Besides no body has bought out a better sports tourer yet[except K1300GT]
in reply to: Bikes on trade me #17726Its a worry when you have 06 K1200 GT's with 40ks just like mine for$12990, makes it hard to find the differance for a 2012 K1600GT at $33995 with less than 1000ks on it[$44600 rrp]$11000 under list..At least the old airheads are going up in value.Might have to hang on to the current fleet for a little longer.
