So it looks like you guys missed out. The cartridge kit has arrived and it's very nice. Now all I need is the time to install it.

Red is nice. It looks like it is slightly different to the current red.

Perhaps they've booked a private room?

More likely the whole restaurant 🙂

I don't think you'll need to service it annually, unless you do 30000km+. I've had my Elka rear shock service last year after more than 60000km and everything was fine. The front shock has now done 80000km and will get done once I get around to it. ESA bit harder without the button, but not so hard that I would pay extra for it :-).

Seeing that the F700 has also 800cc they could have called it a 750 :-). Maybe that's the next upgrade. The new one will be a lot better, I am sure. The brakes were borderline good.

It's probably OK, for the fun of it I let Google translate it to German and it came out as you've intended it.  That reminds me, I'll need to order more glue 🙂

boy was it hard and hot for an old bugger like me

That'll come out really well, when he translates it  :-).Well done Ramarro, too bad you didn't get to meet any of us. My son studies classical architecture and he can't wait to get to Italy. It's a beautiful place.

Well done Mr Bell didn't know u could speak sensible, Do I not have the right to show I'm negative on how the BMWOR is being run at the moment.

Darryl, of you course you do. But you need to be specific on what bugs you, not just make a statement like that. What don't you like and how should it be instead? I've been a member for a little over ten years now, and I am not sure I can remember the last time you were happy with how things were being run.  Sometimes this place is like the Muppets, with Waldorf and Statler sitting in the back row grumbling to themselves. Statler_Waldorf.jpgW: That was so bad, it locked up my computer!S: Quick! Let's get out of here before it finds the key!

That obviously wasn't Steve, I think he must have left his computer logged on to the website and someone sensible got hold of it.

I saw his name pop up a couple of days ago, he must have logged in, but did not respond to this thread. A ride report would have been nice, no pun intended.

Of course the figures mean something, JB was $300 more expensive than Classic Cover, for the same insurance. I can't help it that you are reading something else into it.  I also have 3 bikes insured, to a similar value and they wanted $1400 from me. So it looks like you are still ahead with JB, maybe you have been getting a pensioner discount, or perhaps it's to with the fact that we have two riders and they are making the sensible rider pay more.  Like I've said, we've never claimed on bike insurance.
