Not quite sure the germans understood the "mobility" part.

It's a "mobility" scooter for those who can't ride the other bikes anymore, because they can't swing their leg over the seat.  ;).

I've never understood this scooter thing. I get the Vespa, that's for little girls to look cool on, but what's the point of those maxi scooters. I bet you can get a real motorcycle for what these things will cost.  😉

    Yep, definitely looks sad.

I think Peter Z usually rides with a 140 Mitas on the rear. He is quite happy with them. Oops, haven't read your question properly. What's wrong with fitting a 150 TKC80, apart from the fact that they are bloody expensive?

I have just signed up with classic cover. They were $363 cheaper than JB with a much lower excess for theft. That's full cover for three bikes. I've been with JB for 7 years and have never had a claim, so they have been excellent to deal with. I hope you'll get your stuff sorted to your satisfaction, Bwucie.

I am Glad you are OK (well almost) Bwucie. The DL650 is a very nice bike and much more useful, if you are planning to hang out with the cool k…. I mean the Adventure crowd, like Malcolm does :-). As far as the election goes, I am happy with the outcome and I haven't checked my Lotto ticket yet. *edit* the lotto ticket bombed , but I got to ride some gravel as compensation and I managed to clean the bikes.

I am jealous :-). You need to search the ride reports on advrider.com, it's an excellent source of information. My longer term plan is to ride the TAT, hopefully before I am 55.

oh and have you heard that they are going to bring in a charge to put your vehicle on the  suspended register

I might have to permanently suspend it then 🙂 I don't think it will hurt the engine.

It's the annual outage we have when we suddenly find out that the domain doesn't work for free. It not uncommon.

The fuse is there for a reason Alex

I thought they were just there for the entertainment value. Maybe I should take the pennies out of the fuse box at home.I had to get a warrant for the bike and then pick up a new fuse. The fuse wire hadn't actually melted, it looked as if it had vibrated off right next to one of the terminals. Anyway, it's all good now. Thanks for your input, everybody.

Pissed around for a while and then took the tank off to have a look at the fuse. Don't bother taking the tank off to look for fuses. Take off the left side panel first, it's right next to the battery. Sure enough, I need a 15 amp fuse. Nothing that a wire can't fix in the mean time. The trouble I go through to keep you people amused :-).

Hi Ian,it's front and rear, that's why I am thinking that it a blown fuse or a broken wire. Once the tank is lighter I will have a look.
