I guess we've all had to learn this one the hard way. It has happened to me several times on other forums. Now I make a habit of copying the post, or even writing it in word and then pasting it in.in reply to: Torque wrenches. any suggestions? #6065Thanks, I’ll be seeing you then in 35ookm 😀
in reply to: Torque wrenches. any suggestions? #6063It’s been out of warranty since may last year. So far all it has needed was a final drive seal. I used to service my old CX500. The GS can’t be all that different under the valve cover.
in reply to: Torque wrenches. any suggestions? #6061Looks like this is what I need as well. I’ve got one, but I don’t have much confidence in it. I will be servicing the GS myself from know on. It’s enough if the litte GS get pampered in the shop.
in reply to: BMWOR website sticker #5864Looks great Garry. I’ve put mine onto the Paralever. I may need to get one for the other side. I’l take a photo tomorrow.
in reply to: A plug for Nippy Normans #6053Sorry didn’t mean to offend. Jim was putting in a plug for a sponsor. I agree that we should support them, as long as they offer equal service and price to other companies. I am sure that the company you have mentioned is good, but they don’t support the club like Nippy Norman does.
in reply to: A plug for Nippy Normans #6051Do they also sponser our website?
in reply to: Auckland BMWOR ride to Cooks Landing 9th July #6042I’ll see what I can do Jim. The photos are responsible for the stretching.
in reply to: BMW Motorrad wins at Pikes Peak #6036Looks like they’ve used Supermoto tyres. The turns look like they are quite banked. Not sure if that was the case on the Sky race.
in reply to: Auckland BMWOR ride to Cooks Landing 9th July #6040Thanks for the ride report Jim. I’ll add a few pictures that Kevin had sent us.
The weather held out and we didn't really get wet.
Klondyke road is well worth the ride. I will do it again on a fine day to get the most of the views. -
