"The Matarangi Golf club" aka Omaras does a very nice lunch in a lovely setting at a very reasonable price. Hey Bwucie.have you tried the ice creams at the Kuaotunu Shop. A kiwi institution. Walk across the road behind the fire station an a nice deck to sit and consume and chat. I suggest only getting the kiddie cone at $1.70.  Herr Kyusten went there a while ago and got the 2 scoop. Silly idea, I had warned him. They have one called the "Kuaotunu killer" I suggest u try it. take a towel.I know you guys dont like leaving those SHways but is only 80m from SH25. U will still be able to see it.
