Lunch at Maccas'The HD boys had there HOG rally in Hamilton a few years ago and I was in the centre of town working. we had a few streets closed off so they could park up and the public could come and look at their bikes. So this guys wanders up to me wearing his chaps and all the HD bling.Q. Can you tell me where I can get a good feed.A. Well if ya were riding a BMW ya would like a bit of fine dining, but since ya on a Harley, ya may as eat what ya ride, McDonalds is around the corner.I could not help myself.

in reply to: Whangarei, via Paparoa/Oakleigh #13744I wasn't properly fit to make good decisions about riding my own machine, let alone considering everyone else on the ride. Never mind, I got home alive.
and when are you ever fit to make good decisions 🙄
in reply to: Kaiaua Fission Chips, 11 Apr #13724While not wishing in any way to condone such heinous criminal activity, one would have to question under whose the jurisdiction policing said parking area would lie. Slak
guessing that since only access is via motrway would fall under Transit NZ whom opeates State Highways so a City Council would not have Juri in this area. Thats only a guess but open to be corrected. I am only thing from a legal view of a sensible person but set to be corrected by someone in the know. or a bush lawyer but give us his view but they have as much credibility as the now diposed Iraqi minister of information, or is that mis-information.
in reply to: Kaiaua Fission Chips, 11 Apr #13719Unending summer, more bikes than we have had for a few weekends, so more good company. More corners, more fish and chips, more ice cream: what more could you want? Yeah, right! Disgraceful biker behaviour.First there was the Red Baron:Who was soon joined by Jacky T, who at least had the goodness to hide her ashamed face:
I think this is out of Richards jurisdiction but not out of mine. Can I just have the time and the first number of the red BMW bike plate and I will post them the appropriate paperwork. I just did a defended case the other week made a comment to an ignorant parked in one of these parks and said ignorant lost face and punched person whom made comment. District Court Judge made comment about the public’s and his displeasure of people taking these spaces.

in reply to: The Re-vamped website #13671mine automatically did it so i thought it was set up like that or the previous administrator the nice Mr BREIG may have done it for me. hes good like that
in reply to: The Re-vamped website #13669One thing I would like to see is new posts and new threads go to the top of the list. When a popular thread such as 'Abandonded Wooden Buildings' come up, it takes forever to find the last screen. For example, the Auckland Bus lanes, I went to the bottom of the thread three times before the penny dropped, there's a second page. This site seems to be different to the others I frequent.I am not complaining, just suggesting a more logic way of displaying threads.2c worth!

in reply to: Bus lanes in Auckland #13645Those who post on other NZ bike web sites should post about the bus lanes so the Police can stop there tax collection and may be the police could use some common sense 😮 My wife spotted the police writting tickets to bikers in Lincoln Road Henderson bus lane which is not in Auckland City council control. How about the police who are on this site come back with some answers in the next few days 🙄
Dean one of my windows is leaking. can you tell me whats wrong with it and could you come and fix it since it looks like it was installed incorrectly. 🙄re the bus lane why dont you ask your wife does she not work for Waitakere City Council. She should no as they are the ones that put the bus lane in for some reason, the police only enforce the rules they dont make them.
in reply to: Bus lanes in Auckland #13639I would enjoy the debate may be we could put the hat around for my court costs. At long last Mr Bell knows who is god around here! 😮
yeah the only thing is Dean, god is spelt backwards 🙄
