Was somewhere way down sth and they mentioned horses had travelled from as far a feild as the Waikato. So that may explain why some horses were missing. http://www.clydesdale.org.nz/ads/centenaryinfo.pdf so if you had a bit further south you would of seen more.NZ Clydesdale Society 100 Year Celebrations. in reply to: Gerbing heated Vest liner #15174I hate the cold. You should see how much insulations I've stuffed into our new place. I have a 35km one way commute. It can go down to low single digits and I don't want to arrive at worked dressed like the Michelin man. I'll leave the cold to the southern men.

in reply to: Sun 05 Jun – Little and local ride South #15136went to the mighty Orkland today. 😮 traffic was banked up from Ramarama to Papakura sth bound and Takanini to Otara while i was travelling north. Traffic nice and light around Ponsonby. I suspect this was 45 % of the cars in Auckland were in that big parking lot called the Southern Mway. About faced and headed for home. Traffic still stopped from Manukau, Clearly those Aucklanders are unaware of the road called Great Sth Road. Could see cars crawling all tha way to Ramarama from GSR. Oh to live to Orland . yeah right

in reply to: Unregistered cars to attract demerit points #15010Unfortunately nothing will change unless people know that they have to face some serious consequences for their actions - or in-actions. It's the never ending story, isn't it: They can't afford to maintain, run and keep a vehicle legally on the road. They can't afford insurance and if you are taken out by one of them, you are the one to face the consequences of their inabilities to [insert any possible screwup].I find it quite "amazing" how many people think owning and driving a car - regardless - is a right not a privilege. Like so many other things, I guess...Maybe it's time to stop all the pc bullshit and get a bit more real. Even more importantly, make these people realise what the real world is like and that there is no-one else to pick up their cock-ups >:(
only problem is to many do gooders out there to feel sorry for them.
