Yip, Happy with the wear on the rear... surprised the front is wearing faster for a change. And if you ask the wife... I check the tyre pressures too often 🙂

Hey all,Just to add my bit to the cost of parts... was having a talk to the guys at motomart and they past the good new that the NZ supplier of BMW parts looked like they were going to keep putting the prices up.  It may come down to our friendly bike shops passing on the price hikes.Seems to be a normal story, and working in a government agency, I know that once you have signed the line for a supplier that it's a tough one to then get out of that contract. Yes, even if a search online means we can find it cheaper. They even gave me the advice that if I could get a better deal myself, then get the parts and they would fit it.As we are all doing.. I'm keeping my eye out it I need a part in the future.Cheers all

Hmmm, do I say I had a lucky break getting things done in Welly.. YEP!!ABS guys in Welly found that bike ABS is lots different to cars, so sent the bike up to Motorrad. Long story short.. no ABS issue!!!Noise coming from under the fuel tank...not the fuel pump either, a drive belt on the engine. Just think of the radiator belt on you car is making a noise like the cars cold. So bike is happy again..kind off. Thanks for all of the advice and will keep an eye on things to see how we go.Dave

Had a pair of EXP previous to the K60 Scouts.Go about 17k out of them, not a bad tyre for on road and some off road. They are like a 70/30 road/off road. Can still get some good lean out of them as well on road.  😀

Ok, so I'm giving something a go in Welly.Rang the AA, after all I'm paying them for it anyway, and they put me onto a repairer by the Basin. So they said give us a couple of days and they will come back with a result. They may not be a bike shop...but its ABS, and every vehicle out there now has one. Will let you know of how things go in a week. Fingers crossed :-

The ABS unit is still working, but decided that I will get it reconditioned. Would prefer to do this in NZ if possible. Will send to the states if there is no better option.Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Dave

Hey all,Update on the Heidenau K60's that I'm running on my 1150GS.. still bugger all wear. Only doing commuting mostly and open road k's. Done about 6k on the set and still near new... may be down to 9mm on the rear (10mm new). There is that extra road noise and the feel when you are slow. Just need to get off the seal and enjoy the loose stuff.Dave

Bike's a 2000 R1150GS. Just had the guys check, had a hydraulic fluid fault coming up. However now reset and ABS back working again....Hmm might have to look at recondition side at some stage... can certainly notice the difference.

Yep had a set fitted to mine… 19″ front, 17″ rear… they ordered the wrong size in to start with. Which may be of help to someone else get a set for $490.I've had Tourance and Trail Attacks prior to this. Enjoy the grip on the road, but haven't had as much as I would have liked off the road. Will see how it goes.
