HiWIMA Auckland Branch is holding the 4th annual Pink Ribbon Ride Sunday 14th October 2007 to raise funds for the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation. Last we presented a cheque of $4000 to the foundation. We invite all motorcyclists (male & female) to join us again this year in an endeavour to better last year. The ride format is exactly the same - meeting at Selwyn College, Kohimara from 10am and departing at 11.30am travelling under police escort along Kohimarama Rd, St Heliers Bay Rd, Tamaki Dr, The Strand, North Western motorway, off at St Lukes, right onto St Lukes Rd, right onto Great North Rd, left into Stadium Dr and ending in the Western Springs Stadium car park. Badges are $10 and each badge will be numbered for a chance to win one of the spot prizes at then end. A coffee van will be selling coffee at the beginning and raffle tickets will also be available. A sausage sizzle will be at the end along with another coffee van and we have numerous prizes to give away as well as the raffles. We'd appreciate if you could let your members know as we'd love to see as many bikes & riders as possible.A poster is attached. Last year there were concerns about the speed of the ride & we'd appreciate if you could also let you members know that we are addressing this with the police to ensure we don't have the same problem this year. If you have any queries please let me know. Thank you for your support & we look forward to seeing you Sunday 14th October. Have you made Julez aware that this event clashes with our AGM in Taupo Alex? Otherwise I'm sure many would be interested in showing support.  🙂Malcolm
