HiI stored my BMW R1150RT from October last year and it will arrive in the next few days in Auckland. I disconnected the battery and drained almost all the petrol.I need some help with what I need to do before I start the bike. 😕 Do I need to drain the oil and replace any filters? I will obviously have to recharge the battery (if its still ok).I will then take the bike to the AA for certification and WOF.ThanksWillem
Put some fresh petrol in and try to start it. I'd say your battery is toast, but maybe you'll get lucky. Take it for a ride to warm it up and then change the oil and filter. I'd also change the brake fluid and clutch fluid. Enjoy your ride.
