Wellington tyre prices have dropped

Hello everyone,Seems to be a bit of a tyre price war going on in Wellington at the moment.  Most shops are offering a pair or Pirelli Angel GTs for around $400 (Motomart Lower Hutt is $390 fitted until the end of Nov 14).  Given my last pair of Metzler Z8s were around $650 fitted, methinks it's a fairly sharp price.Just in time for summer too  😉

now that's helpful Scottmac – thanks for posting – I'll be in the market for a new front for my GS in the New Year – thinking of either a TKC90, Karoo 3 or the trusty Mitas E07 which I've already got 12,000km out of on the rear of my R12GS – none of which is relevant to RT riders I acknowledge – but I'm just keen to see usage of this site increase – my default options are ADVRIDER and UKGSER – cheers SPS my understanding is the TSS tend to meet the market - thinking Mitas here

The special from Motomart (free fitting) is only for this month I think. I chose to replace a fairly worn rear tyre with a puncture with a new one – the theory being I saved the cost of the puncture repair and the fitting cost (both $50) The old tyre had done 12,000kms. Not as much as I am used to on the K60s. The new one cost $330 fitted.Kennif
