If you have found the new address, from the BMWOR website, and found your way here, you will know we are back, but limping.  The address for the forum is now changed to https://www.bmwmc.nz/forum, and you will want to reset your “Favourites” or “Bookmarks” to that to find us.Clearly I have much to work on over the next few days, but we will get it back.It was a very loooooooooooooong Saturday................................

I am truly, fore-lock tugging, grovellingly sorry for all the disruption to the forum.  As you can see, I still have some way to go, but the aim is to stay functional from here on.The old look is gone, trying to restore it caused more grief and loss of sleep than I could handle: function is more important than looks right now.  If I can just get the icons for the formatting back tonight I will have a few days rest before I worry about the looks, and a link back to bmwor.org.nz, which, yes, I know we need. You will all be pleased to know that S. Bell, Esq. has been encouraging me: it's a Police thing, isn't it, Steve, kicking a man when he's down?I'm glad I managed to link up your avatars again, it's good to see your smiley faces again - and Steve's not so good looking smile.

Well, F.I.G.J.A.M!  I have swapped out the Simple Machine Logo for the bmwor.org.nz top title image (thanks for the borrow of your artwork, David!), and I have made that image a clickable link to go back to the main website.I am about to head up to Mr Singh the Sikh's local liquor shop and shout myself a beer or three.  Seeya when I'm sober. As for the main website, I reckon it looks a bumzillion times better than the old one did: give it up for David Cohen, who wrote the site.

The new site looks fantastic and the forum all seems to be working great. I do miss the R1200C that used to take pride of place on the old site, but a small price to pay for such an improvement. Well done David for putting it together and fantastic work Bwucie for getting it all up and running. Lucky that you already had a few gray hairs before you started the project so we probably won't notice all the new ones.

So, YoungJim, being the whingeing pom he is, was whining at me today because the time was wrong in the header of the forum (an old sea-dog that can't handle GMT, who woulda thunk.)  And I said, “Why aye, lad, what's the matter with you, looks fine on my machine.”So, he had reason to whine, 'cos I had only offset the time on my profile.  Now I have done it forum-wide, so all of us that have used our initiative will have to set our personal profiles back thirteen hours.Well done, Jimmy, you win, I lose.  ??? ??? >:(

As a matter of fact they do, every three months: they have done so since I was a teenager. Some poor buggars that have received my donations musta woke up either hungover, or bouncing off the walls if I've been on chocolate or coffee.
