Advance warning people:Those with the ninja powers are very close to the point of going live with the NEW bmwor.org.nz. For those of you that have not seen the demos during the rebuild, it will look way more betterer, and 21st Century-ish.The buggar factor is that they are relying on this spaz:the worried looking Bwucie UnterGeek, to swap the Forum from one server to another.I'm not panicking: I'm s######g bricks. We may lose the forum for a couple of days, and I apologise in advance in case we do. But it is all backed up, and when an intelligent person gets in on the act, normal service will be resumed, OK?
The new site looks exactly like the old one, you needn't have bothered changing over. 😀

Urgent appeal! Is their any member of BMWOR with an understanding of MySQL and php that could hold my sweaty little paw through the process of shifting the Forum as a one off act of human kindness to all us forum users? The more I look at what needs doing to shift it, the more apprehensive I am: it really is beyond my competence. I know jack about the software involved, MySQL and php are not drugs I commonly use, I stopped at plain vanilla html when I realised I was in danger of becoming a junky.
