I've appreciated the responses to my post re Fork Seals etc, I'm now keen to learn to renew seals myself. I have some mechanical aptitude, but approaching 76 admit to having lost a degree of mechanical confidence, and am unsure of what to look for by way of a cause of the seals failing. Is there a suitably experienced Auckland member able and willing to teach me on his own patch if I was to dismantle the fork assemblies from the bike ('97K1100LT) and bring them round by car?
