Trail Ride South Island

Hi.  we are a couple of trail riders from the Nth Is and we are planning a trip to the Sth Is at Xmas this year.  We have done the Molesworth track from top to bottom before and are planning to do the Rainbow Road this time.  We are looking for other tracks / trails to do in the top of the Sth Is that would fill in approx one week of travelling.  We plan to travel light and return to a base where the vehicle is parked up.  Bikes to be registered for trip so can do some on road stuff.Any ideas on trails etc from members would be most welcomeThanks
