I thing I'm having issues with my TPS, At crusing speed it randomly looses some power and slows down a bit for aprox 5 seconds and then seems to power away again, if I adjust the throttle it sorts it till it happens again. Does anyone have any advice or is there a spare TPS for a 1150 out there that I can try to see if it makes a diffence.Thanks. Graeme
Faulty fuel solenoid? 11 hundy had the same issue, horn relay was identical to fuel pump relay, swapped them over and so far so good 8)
forgive my ignorance but what's a TPS. I only heard of TPD.

AnonymousInactive17/07/2012 at 11:26 amPost count: 72Hi Graeme If you think you have got TPS issues the most guess free way to check is to back probe with an oscilloscope. Why .Because if there is any minor brake a voltmeter will probably miss the gap as it is ranging. The oscilloscope will give a constant curve up or down as the throttle is moved. UNLESS it does have a break and then the line will sharply drop. Check the plug for powdering/ corrosion on the terminals ??? 🙂 Too much info give me a bell.
