Wow. Soon BMW people will have new options, for those who like scooters – albeit in “maxi” format. 1st December 2011 brought the first production models off the Berlin assembly line. It will probably be some time before we see some in NZ, since Europe get first taste in March next year. Will you be able to fit as many baguettes under the seat as you can with an MP3?Will you be able to get in as many Export Drys as you can get in a pair of R1100S sideboxes? (I knew there was a reason Rob wanted those panniers when my eleven-hundy was murdered.)
I've never understood this scooter thing. I get the Vespa, that's for little girls to look cool on, but what's the point of those maxi scooters. I bet you can get a real motorcycle for what these things will cost. 😉
