Last two afternoons Mr Kuysten has been a busy lad in the main drag of Old Papatoetoe as I have passed through, treadling homewards on my velocipede.I realise we all need a paid job to keep paying for repairs on our Bavarian Money Wasters, but that doesn't mean Richard has to look like he's enjoying himself while he's at work.  Maybe it's not the enforcing that makes him look like that, though.  Maybe it's true that the ladies like a man in a uniform?

Don't give him a hard time. I can just imagine what it would look like in the city without parking wardens. The rules are pretty clear, especially if they apply to other people.

I fully agree, Alex.  The next afternoon Richard wasn't there, nor any of his colleagues, and the Clearway was once again full of 4WD's, blocking the left turning traffic from using the lane during rush hour(s).I wasn't giving him a hard time because of his profession, so much as because, well, he's Richard the IPod Man!
