Well it certainly looks like a good one Bwucie, hasn't even got any bug splat on it yet but I suppose it wont be long before it gets a bit of muck on it.Looking forward to seeing it and drooling over a new bike (As we all do)

Nice bike (for a Suzuki) Bwucie! By the looks of those rubber hoops your are going to be wanting to ride the gravel pretty soon.

This is getting waaay off-topic for a BMW Forum, so I have hijacked Rusty's Blog to post my early impressions of the V-Strom for those that are interested.  (First time I've touched our family website since forever, I've used so much of my “spare” time for BMWOR's site.)Rustys Blog is at: http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~bandjc/Rusty/Rusty.htmlFor those that use news readers, his RSS feed: http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~bandjc/Rusty/rusty.xml

Just to verify that the local cost problems Dick identified with relation to BMW parts and bikes are universal, I ordered a main stand for the new scoot when I picked it up, to be fitted at the first service, in order to support the local firm.A quick check shows I could get one in my hot little hands, here from Germany (isn't that where you get all your Jap bike parts?) NZ$34 cheaper. In this case I will leave it with the local blokes, just as part of the "bonding" thingee with a new (to me) dealership.

Finally got a day off work, and time to visit my friendly local sign cutter for the finishing touch.

Yeah, I'm with Neil: the bike actually looks quite flash, it's a shame about the rider.
