And the Cullingworth Concept continues to affect Suzuki, as well as BMW…….[hr]Ta for that, I think, Craig.I think the expression I'm after is somewhere between, "**** a duck!" and "Stuff a Siberian Snow-Stoat!"Seeya next week (maybe),BwucieOn 16/04/12 19:32, Craig Brown wrote:> Hi Bruce , boats running a week late. I can too sleep, Jim, with all the hours the man is taking out of my life at work, the problem is staying awake  long enough to cook the Librarian's dins of an evening.Every time I look at a photo of the new scoot I am reminded I've ordered yet another ugly bike: seems to be a talent of mine. This one was to be the "Third Mortgage", because it's another purchase booked up against the house. (Should have been the eleven-hundy's name, actually, but the "Sex Toy" done named itself.) And it looks like this one, as well, has renamed itself before I've even seen one in the flesh. So when I finally appear on a ride on a machine other than the Baby Burger, I will be riding the "Duckly Ugling". I'm picking my friendly neighbourhood sign-cutting lady will be shaking her head again over that.

This time you are dead right, Jim.  Woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 0200, gave up trying at 0330, got up and started the day - but I'm not excited, d'ye ken?  And I only tell lies on days with a 'y' in them.  Gonny skive at 1400 today, but might haveta work Saturday if asked: I have a new bike to pay for. This'll be my third-in-a-lifetime new machine, so I've finally caught up with the Librarian's tally.  (An betya it'll be the last-in-a-lifetime as well, so I'd best not stop at pedestrian crossings anymore!)

Yes we are.  Tomorrow we will start teaching ourselves to ride it.

Rusty reckons, "Keep it, Dad, I like the colour!"P4270005.jpgThe Librarian is not so sureP4270007.jpgSometimes your mates just leave you gobsmacked - here is Rusty admiring just such an occasion.  V-Stroms normally come with a real ugly bit of front pipe plumbing and an oil filter hanging oot the front.  Before I even saw the bike, some of me mates from the Legion of the Lost had supplied Mr Motorcycles with a bottom engine shroud, which just makes the bike look a million dollars better.  I am humbled, and gobsmacked both.P4270008.jpgOk, Rusty, we'll keep it.P4270009.jpg

Congratulations Bwucie, that's a fine looking bike. I am looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
