This will start at 1330 hours, at the Vintage Car Club, 39 Fairfax Avenue, Penrose, Auckland, after-match function will be a short ride to Two Fat Cows, Drury, for a coffee or a bevvie. The primary aim of the TEC Workshop when it was first conceived was to give riders a toolbox full of "how to" if there was an accident on a group ride: Tail End Charlie tends to get involved by default if there is a bike in the weeds, because those in front probably won't be aware anything has happened.  What it evolved into is also an effective introduction to group riding, for those that haven't done a lot of it.  You may have ridden a gazillion kilometres solo, or with one or two of your buds, but a group ride presents a different set of circumstances, and creates a different set of hazards.  The TEC Workshop is that - a workshop, not a lecture or lesson.  All of the current content has come from previous attendees, nearly everyone present will have most of the knowledge in their own noggin already, but the workshop will tidy those sometimes separate ideas into one single file on your mental hard drive, so you can access the tools you need, in the right order, when you need them in a pinch.Rob has sorted the Vintage Car Club for a venue, I'll cover my photocopying, so it is a freebie to any punters that come along.  It is limited to Register members or their family, but it is NOT restricted to Aucklanders: if you want to jump onya scoot from out of town and attend, that's fine.  Please let Bwucie know by Wed, 09 Jun, if you will be there, so he can make enough sets of handout notes.  Either ring and leave a voice message (09 268 1321) or email: blunderbruce@ihug.co.nz
