Quote from DTY, copied from another thread:"Curmudgeons?  Zimmer frames?  Slippers?  Sorry.  Go ahead, let me have it.  Just understand that you'll be giving it back to the young hoon of the group, and he's 44."Young hoon DTY?  I had another DT in my mirrors all day Sunday, ready to marshal every corner: DTP as in Dave the Pom, a.k.a. Rincewind. Not a bad effort on Binky the GS, after he got back to Clevedon at the end of the run and then realised Binky was twitching a bit because some rogue ankle-biter belonging to another parent had wound off all his pre-load.Now I'm waiting for DTRussian or DTArmenian to appear out of the woodwork (I guess DTR would ride a Ural).

Hey GuysYet another barnstorming day, although as Bwucie has already mentioned Binky was a little skittery and unpretictable for two thirds of the journey but I just put it down to the road conditiions to start with and adjusted my riding style to suit. However on the long straight down to the corner shop at KawaKawa bay I decided to put my hand down and check the pre-load on my rear shock only to find it fully wound off.The rest of the ride was to say the least a little less stressfull on the sphincter muscle.....I recall a small child sitting down beside my bike on Friday with an inquisitive look on his face bless him....maybe a hot exhaust pipe will interest him next time....oh did I say that out loud !!I must find a way of locking that adjuster up,you would think there would be a safety on it !!!It was good to see another new member on the ride "welcome Peter Dunn" hope to see you again. The fish-n-chips were up to standard but I was made to feel like a rebel because I had a steiny as an apair of teef...get over it Herr Red Barron you were just jealous...ha ha Appologies to all for not joining in the coffee and gingernut fest at Crowther Palace after the ice cream stop iin Cleevdon, I had chores to do back at the ranch. See yaall real soon...
