South Island RAG Rally 2009The South Island RAG Rally will be held this year at Hokitika from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th November 2009 which is Canterbury Show weekend. We will be based at 252 Beachside Motels and Holiday Park in Revell St Hokitika which offers a variety of accommodation according to your needs or budget, when booking please mention that you are part of the “BMWOR” group and hopefully if enough attend we will get a concession, Brian is the guys name there. See their web site http://www.252beachside.co.nz/tariff.html for facilities and rates. We will be doing the BBQ breakfast’s onsite both the Saturday and Sunday mornings for which there will be a small fee to cover the costs of the food; I am looking for volunteers to help with the breakfasts. Saturday night’s dinner will be at a handy restaurant which one is yet to be decided (looks like I need to go down and check them out)Hopefully there will be both a road ride and a GS ride and I am working on the routes and planning for the two meet at certain scenic/historical spots, more on the rides later so that it will be a surprise! We may print a Tee Shirt for the even if numbers are enough.Another good site to look at for attractions and things to do in Hoki as it is affectionately know is http://www.hokitika.orgRSVP: October 27th 2008(Cut here)
