You have all been very quiet – so quiet that the question has been asked, “Is the Forum still working?”A short while later: Yup, still working, Robin.Cheers,Bwucie
Shore is ;). Haven't heard how the run went on Sunday but the Pro Rider training run to Nikau Cafe went well on Saturday even though we couldn't see our instruments most of the way down to the Cafe through that Waikato pea souper. Karel Pavich and her team are good guys and we even got to take in about 8ks of metal. The meal blew my previous experiences at the Nikau out of the window with a magnificent lunch of soup and fresh bread followed by pots of filter coffee and basil shortbread – yum. The run home started slowly until Karel barreled past the lead rider (R1100 S) and made “get going signals” and from there the pace picked up for a great run home to Pukekohe. I'm very happy with the way the GS handled the damp twisties, just need to get out on some more metal soon. My participation was courtesy of the ACC I enjoyed my day and met a new bunch of interesting enthusiasts. There ya go.

Thanks Steve, I knew some of those faces and where else but on the farm would the kids get bright green icing on their cup cakes ::) Must take a walk through the caves one of these days.
Is that one and the same Nikau Cafe mentioned in the forum and the Country Calendar Farm?
Yes Dave, a popular run for those in the Northern regions as it has good tight sealed roads and some great metal too.
