Short local rides

During the current spell of fine and clear weather I've been trying to go for a short ride each day to discover some new roads. And some interesting letterboxes and abandoned houses. The letterboxes and houses are posted elsewhere on this site. At the same time I've been trying to write some short illustrated ride reports, posting them on my web site. They can be seen at http://www.softnz.com/rides.html under the “Other rides” links. The mailrun links are all old, and no longer of interest.Note: I have limited bandwidth on that site, so if there is too much traffic the link may stop working some day.

thanks for that. have done a lot of those roads while living in Jaffaland and Hamilton. Used to do all those BOP roads on weekdays before Wee Jimmy came along. Don't get out much now, strange that
