Hi.I was looking for a centre stand for my Sertao. BMW does not make one, not even the old Dakar one. I had a look at some of the big suppliers, recommended by people - but $700+ import tax seems a bit crazy to me. I ended up buying the normal G650GS one from BMW and found a good welder - Phill from - http://www.metaldoctor.co.nz to lengthen it for me. I had to turn the bolt around holding the rear shock and it fitted perfectly! I only have about 1.5cm ground clearance on the back wheel, but any longer, the stand will touch the swing arm. In total it worked out just over $370, a more reasonable price!!!!So at least there is an alternative for the Sertao owners who wants a centre stand.Johan

Looks good.Just watched a vid of the Sertao compared to a Suzuki and a Yamaha. Looks like BMW has gone back to it's Dakar roots with the Sertao. I guess you'll love it or hate it, but it looks great to me.

I looked at a few bikes, and this one ended up being the best one in my price range. I can walk to work in 15min, but on my bike it takes 45min!  ;D
