I'm trying to replace the front wheel bearings on my 2001 1150GS, the wheel is off and I've removed everything down to the spacer in front of the left hand bearing, can't seem to heat the wheel hub up enough to drive out the opposite bearing, (through the left hand bearing).I've tried my Cook's blowtorch, and filling the hub with boiling water, but seems to have no effect (although my hubs are pretty clean and my creme brulees aren't going to be the same).Any tips out there?

You need to pull the left hand bearing out towards the disk with a spigot bearing type puller then punch the right hand bearing out the other Heating hub to 80 deg C when using the puller to remove bearing. Hope this helps

Thanks – gave it a go but I'm not getting any movement at all. might have to drop the wheel in to the garage on Monday morning.  Googled the problem but seems there's nothing out there at all, lots on the rear bearings though.

The bearing in the picture looks like it's jammed a bit. Maybe you should try to tap it in square again, before using a puller?
