This almost certainly means yet another circuit of the (should be) world famous Coromandel Loop, with options for the gravel scratchers.Between now and then, those with an intimate knowledge of cafe society can lobby this hotbread shop frequenter about where they want to have lunch in Whitianga.

AnonymousGuest05/03/2010 at 8:06 amPost count: 2134Hurrr! High tide at Buffalo Beach is 1300 hours, and there will be swimming. Mr Baron has said he will be the security guard, but I'm picking he will still have the nosebag on while I go for my dip. I figure if I skip lunch at Whitianga I will be up for the Steve Bell Ice Cream Challenge at Kuaotunu.

Any chance of posting directions from BP Papakura. Sorry mate, spent the last 50 years in institutions so have no idea where the Autobahn is. 🙁
AnonymousInactive06/03/2010 at 7:59 amPost count: 60Hi Alex,If I'm correct, it's not too far from BP Papakura to Autobahn Papakura. Starting from the the BP pumps area, head north, up the incline. You should be able to stay in first gear on your bike. Head towards the Golden Arches but turn right before you get there and you should be at Autobahn.Wish I could join you guys again but have too much to do tomorrow. Hope you have a great ride and look forward to catching up with the group again soon.Rob
AnonymousInactive06/03/2010 at 6:17 pmPost count: 41er…isn't Autobahn Papakura and BP Papakura one and the same? i thought the autobahn is the mall next to the BP station. same complex.anyway, i'll be there. at the carpark, of course, not in the mall.please text 021-1455647 if i go amiss. ta.Shah
AnonymousGuest06/03/2010 at 6:48 pmPost count: 2134Yes, yes, and yes: I have been spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty and despair) again.Yes, it is the Papakura southbound service centre, and the other Autobahns are at the Bombay northbound service centre and the Dairy Flat Northbound service centre, and I should not make edits one-handed while talking to UncaMoose at the same time (he it was that pointed out I'd done it again - no start point.)My bad, my bad. But I did remember to advise there will be both swimming and ice cream, but not necessarily at the same time.
