First ride for the year and, as has become the tradition, will be a 'Picnic' ride. Those that did this ride in January last will remember what a great time we had. Traveled up the Wanganui river having a lunch stop at Kawana then traveling on through to Jerusalem, Pipiriki and a coffee at Ohakune before heading home via Fields Track. Well this coming January we intend to travel up to Taihape then over 'Gentle Annie' stopping for lunch at a suitable picnic spot en route (and there are plenty) before heading to Fernhill and home via SH50.
