    Does anyone know if you can use a 'bendy' type oil filter in a Basic (no oil cooler) or does it have to be a 'straight' one?

    I've used both. They are the same length. Make sure that your white O-ring does its job properly.

    Many thanks for that, I had a  'bendy one left over when I had my GSPD.
