Intermitant fault, The bike has suffered from this for the last 20 to 30 thousand Kay. I can move off without any fault lights showing on the dash and they will come on down the road. There is no problem with the action of the brakes. There are no fluid leaks from either the primary or secondary circuits. The bike has been tested with the BM computer set up and shows up as having a fault. Have discussed with John Glasswell who sent the loom testing gear thru and this does not show any problems. Has anyone suffered from this before and if so what was the outcome? looking forward to replys.

I guess you would have checked the alignment of the hand guards by now. They can just slightly interfere with the brake lever, which will then cause a fault.

Yes, I know that one well…. the first time I got into the real rough stuff and had to pick the bike up after flopping on the exit from an interesting ford I suffered from the front lever only just fouling the gaurd. The brakes work perfectly, it is just those lights flashing thats the problem and of course it only shows up when I am running with the ABS enabled. The problem can be there from the start of a ride off situation where it just does not clear after moving off from being parked up and at other times it will occur after riding for 2 km maybe 50 km. plus.
