IMHO the K1200R is ugly in a good way, this thing is just ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course.

Don't like it as much as yours Dave, now it's just another sport bike.ย  ๐Ÿ˜

    I wouldn't say it's ugly it's kinda special in it's own way ๐Ÿ˜

You're so kind.ย  ๐Ÿ˜€ Maybe it's just the colour?. I still like the K1200R the best of the K bikes. That bike has cool written all over it. I enjoyed my short test ride, and actually started thinking about buying it. I could have started my own little collection of speeding tickets. The 1150 still has a few good years left in in, before I can retire it to the back of the garage. Unless of course some idiot tries to take me out again on the motorway.

I think we'll get on really well :-). The K1200R is currently the only 4 cylinder bike I would consider buying. Is this not a happy face?Excuse the riding gear ๐Ÿ™‚

Actually went into Experience yesterday to look at one as I am well into my second childhood, but then the brain took over and little hammers in my head, started knocking and said “you will kill yourself on that” so now I am looking at an Akrapovic exhaust instead so I can hoon around annoying peopleย  ๐Ÿ˜€

Excellent!ย  Can't wait to hear that pipe!Jim, anytime you get the bug, you can take mine for a 250kmh spin.ย  That should cure it for awhile. How much does BMW want for the pipe?ย  Yo might want to consider the aftermarket suppliers.ย  Nippynormans in the UK had it for ร‚ยฃ459.00 (kinda steep), but there a few suppliers in the States who have it for around US$550The aftermarket titanium slip-on is the same one as BMW sells, the only difference being the badge on the side.http://www.nippynormans.com/images/BMW_R1200GS_slipon2.pdfhttp://www.scribd.com/doc/15906/BMW-Sport-Silencers
