Just in passing how's the weather down there?pretty grotty up here, if the Pres and entourage have finished answering all those questions they'll be needing their waterwings I should think.
It's been raining steadly here since lunchtime Malcolm and is not going to improve till about Thursday so the wet weather gear will be getting a test although the K1600GT has pretty good looking weather protection. Not sure about Dave's R1200ST though!
I'd go for the mud colour... but then I go for dark colours every chance I get (that way they all match )
I'm sure I asked for "helpful" suggestions Grem!

Mebbe OK running away from it going South: my (relatively) el cheapo Revit gear held up well, but we only hit the heavy stuff at Papakura on the way home, just before I headed for home. I felt sorry for Kevin, still to cover the extra Kkkkks to the Shore, but he was fully covered with BMW kit, so perhaps he made it still dry. Then again, his bike is way more naked than mine.I'm reasonably seasoned, but if I were Peter or David, I would've been thinking about flagging the exercise and looking for a roof to hoochie up under till daylight about an hour ago.

Hey, that dark colour... it looks like mud! Well, shiny mud. I don't care what flash name they think up for it... I don't even know what colour mine should be called... I just know the other was yellow, and no way in hell would that be registered under my name.
