Mangonui hotel. clean, tidy, friendly. $40 single room with handbasin, TV. Bathroom etc. handy on same level. We asked about overnight security for the bikes and we were directed to ride thru' the dining room into a carpeted 'lounge' where the owner parks his Triumph! Includes a bit of excitement negotiating the short, steep, sloping access ramp into the dining room. Something under the sump, eg. rag/newspaper, in case of leaks was appreciated (wot leaks? ::)). Excellent bistro at v. reasonable prices. Early departure no problem. 😀
