First off my very big thanks to YoungJim and Paul'n'Wendy. I was bikeless, the Librarian wanting the Burgman to get to Glenbrook herself, and the Eleven-Hundy-Ess still acting as an unrepaired door stop at Experience BMW, so Jim and Paul provided Lead Rider services based on their own arcane local knowledge. Jim did the South-East, Paul did the South-West, everybody with a bike got a good ride, and I got a really boring ride in the Cage as Tail-End-Charlie.Calendula was booked heavily because of the holiday weekend, and they had asked me to hold off arrival until 1300. So we stopped for quarter past elevenses at the Native Tree Company Cafe on SH27 (opposite the golf course, about 200m south of the turn off to SH2), which is one of those cafes everybody drives by all the time without ever stopping at. They are very friendly, and on a hot day in summer the area out the back under the shade cloth sail is VERY welcoming. We still looked like being a few minutes early on arrival at Glenbrook after smoko, but YoungJim fixed that by burning up the minutes in a beautifully executed Bwucie-type 'miss the turn-off, then lead everybody through (another) ewe-turn' manouevre. This may not be the last he hears of this oops. The tucker at Calendula is as good as the reputation says it oughta be, which goes a long way to explaining how the business survives tucked away off the beaten track as it is.

There are many ways to get out of a carpark and back on the road for home (actually Team Foley's home for the after-match function - thanks again, guys) many of those ways are demonstrated here: http://s960.photobucket.com/albums/ae90/bwucie/?action=view¤t=MVI_0093.mp4
