In the edition of Feb.,2, the German motorcycle magazine MOTORRAD presented a report on a new K1850GLT, that is said to follow up the K1200LT. The rumours speak of a brand new straight six cylinder engine with 1850cc, pneumatic level suspension adjustment, ABS, Anti-Slip, automatic transmission or electromagnetc gear change with dual clutch, and an airbag. All these informations are said to originate from leakages apparently in BMW ranks. BMW does not deny this 6 cylinder tourer project, expecting that this bike is to come by 2008 onto the market. If this materialises, Honda will probably get serious problems on Goldwing sales, IF BMW can keep their pricing within affordable levels. Looks like I better start saving my pennies........Oh and talk nicely to Lesley  😉

The question is, what are BMW trying to do? 😕 😕Rather buy a car then.  The question on the pricing will be a good one for them to sort out.

A bike like that would compete on the American market where bigger is better. It is no my cup of tea either, but isn't great to have so many choices. Let's see what they can come up with before we make a final judgement.
