Very interesting article, especially for those of you with a Jappa in the garage; http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-tools/jis-screwdrivers/With any luck somebody who knows about such things will surface with a supplier in NZ? Unca Moose? Anyone else? I'm bodge-fingered with any tool, and since I gave up smoking about 35 years ago I can't even fix fuses with that silver paper Kokopelli would have been looking for with his original, so I ain't gonna bother looking it up.

this link lists JIS head and may help clear up any issues. http://www.instructables.com/id/When-a-Phillips-is-not-a-Phillips/?ALLSTEPSsounds like you would source tools from within the japanese market?an impact screw driver "creates" an engagement that is hard to resist, no matter the head type (within reason). then replace with similar suitable/known head form.Jeez, i did not realise that screw heads have more issues/variations than MP3/USB vs iPOD  or older yet again, VHS vs Sony BETA.
