Is an insult an insult if a large minority believe it to be fact ?

Now, this looks like a dog returning to its own vomit.Because you refer to yourself as a large minority I presume you are considerably overweight.I respect your right to hold opinions different to those of us of the large majority, but I have no respect when you descend to personal insult towards a person who has done a bloody sight more for this forum as both a servant (voluntary, of course) and an active participant, than you have so far done by your intemperate posts.I suggest you consider what sort of impression of yourself you leave with your readers: do you really want to be known as an insulting, opinionated prat that does not know when it is time to pull in your neck? Fine if you do."Sorry," works for most of us, and I think it is past time you said it.
I totally agree with Bwucie, and even though the last subject was closed by the administrators you seem hell bent on carrying it on.You must lead a sorry sorry life if this is amusement to you.

I've just had a read of what you wrote and may be you should sign off for good. We have all had a load of fun posting on this forum and we differently don't need your type of replies. 😐

Hey guys, it was just a rhetorical question.

It's a free world as we all know, but for Forums (Fora?) like this to work, there needs to be a modicum of sense, respect, cordiality and perhaps rationality. Differences of opinion make our society (and our club and most organisations) robust. But being a boof-head really goes against that, doesn't it.Not wanting to be a party pooper: but perhaps if kshurley got a Jawa instead of a Bavarian, then he/she could rant on jawaor.org.nz and not subject us to his / her rather strange opining.Just a thought!ka kiteLoins

No such creature as jawaor.org.nz, more's the pity! Bought a smile to my physog did that. They were (and are, 'cos they won't lie down and die) reliable, innovative, cheap, and you could embarrass your cobbers, whose shitty Triumphs had broken down' by giving them a ride home. They made superb farm bikes, before the Honda CT90 and the Yamaha AG100 came along. They ruled the dirt, cinder and ice speedways for yonks. The Jawa NZs were made in NZ, unlike the Jawa CZs from the country with the unspellable name, Czechoslovakia????? Most of the people that ride them now are slightly fringy folk, who like pouring oil smoke into the environment. Good on them! Bring on those other great oil-burners, too, the RD250/350, T200/250/350, and the Kwakka Triple Widowmakers. What's the difference between a Jawa and a sheep? Similar to a Lada, I guess.
Talking of Jawa farm bikes, this is a somewhat younger incarnation of me on my father's first (I think) farm bike. A Jawa. Sometime around 1965.
At last back on track. Bike talk!!!!!!!! Phil
Looks like he's signed off. This forum is obviously an acquired taste 🙂

I'm new to this forum so maybe I'm missing something, but where are you coming from ? 😕
See here http://forum.bmwor.org.nz/index.php/topic,1592.0.html, it's a good example of how things can go wrong on the interweb. Would have never happened in real life.Oh, and welcome to the forum.
