Just catching up with what is happening for this ride and it looks very exciting. This will be an awesome ride especially for those who can do the whole thing but reading the routes for the individual stages there are some great rides to be had through some pretty remote countryside. The fund raising has reached a little over $5000 which is good but far from great and I would like to encourage members who may not have contributed to support Gary or others by donating a little to swell the fund. Don't forget what the fat lady said as she pee'd into the sea 👿To check on what is happening take a look here: http://bmworcantab.wordpress.com/category/gs-anniversary-ride/Malcolm
Thanks Malcolm, it's going to be truly epic!A few of you have been very generous so far but anyone else out there struggling to think what to do with their tax cut, here's an option 🙂 I've set up a web page at http://www.fundraiseonline.co.nz/GarryWilliams/ so that you can easily and securely donate funds to this charity.Well a couple of wee's until we kick this off, here's to where things are at:
- We have 28 Confirmed Riders (please complete the Confirmed Riders Register on the blogsite if you're planning on coming) 16 Riders are starting at Cape Reinga 7 Riders are staring at Picton 14 Riders are joining us in Napier 22 Riders are finishing in Invercargill (I trust you have booked your Burt Munro Tickets) 14 Riders are doing the whole trip (that’s around 4,000 ks) $4,685 has been raised for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (surely we can do better than that!)
CheersGarry
